Pumping Up the Walls

Pumping Up the Walls

Here you get a real sense of the challenges presented by working such a small site. An excavator moves materials while a concrete pumper truck pours another section of wall while carpenters continue to build the next set of forms. This crew not only operates like a surgical team, but here you can clearly see how they must be part ballet artisits as well. All while the clock keeps ticking closer to the winter break. All the concrete must be poured before the freezing weather sets in. Not even Hurricane Irene can stop them. The crew lost only 8 hours of work time to storm preparations. Nice job team!
