Through consultation with the historic interests on the project it was determined that the traditional method of using a solar panel and pump to supply a constant flow of water down the fish ladder's eelway would not be visually acceptable for this iconic dam site. Therefore Fuss & O'Neill Design Build was tasked with working with the project partners and the USGS to build an eelway exit that will be self regulating to provide the required 2-5 gallons per minute of flow for eel passage.
